Why are we called Silvertree Equities? Our name arose when Joel, our founder, returned to the Philadelphia area to start a real estate investment, development, and management business after years of experience as a real estate attorney in the New York City market. Joel wandered the streets of Philly in search of inspiration for a name and found it under the sculpture of a silver tree near the Philadelphia Museum of Art. our founder
Grateful for the opportunity to invest in and develop real estate, and consistently striving to meet his customer’s needs, Joel is the Founder of Silvertree Equities. He has fifteen years of experience in real estate business. Most of his experience has been as an attorney, representing clients in financing, sales, and leasing transactions, and also in commercial litigation. He is a graduate of Yale University, Villanova University School of Law, has taken graduate level course work in commercial real estate finance, financial modeling, and construction methods and materials most notably at New York University, and he has had the privilege to learn from the many commercial real estate transactions in which he has been involved.
